Maximilien is the logistics coordinator of the Recto VRso art festival. He had already volunteered for the Laval Virtual exhibition, during his BTS Tourisme at the Avesnières high school. The fervour of this event made him want to continue his studies in events management. It’s at the Grand Sud Tourism School, in Toulouse, that he learns about organizing business events. He did his internship with the Laval Virtual’s team. Then he participated in the organisation of the first edition of Recto VRso, alongside Judith Guez. Since then, he has been supporting each edition to make the event grow.
Student researcher at the Universities Paris 8 and Rennes 2. After working on digital photography around the reviving painting, he started working on virtual reality. Julien’s research revolves around the artist’s creation process and the spectator through gestures, whether it is frontal to is canva or in collaboration with virtual reality. He questions the idea of an emotion shared between the artist and the viewer,an introspection and a letting-go caused by pictorial codes of the 19th and 20th century. He invites the spectator to become a creator in immersive, dreamlike and poetic works.
Astrid is a second year student in communication, at EFAP Paris. Her internship at Laval Virtual was a first experience in the world of press relations and virtual reality. Alongside the founder Judith Guez and the Head of Communications, Nicolas Toueille, Astrid strives to highlitgh the Recto VRso festival to journalists.
