#2 Physical: Restitution

The 4th edition of the International Festival Recto VRso will be held from 7 to 11 July at the Musée-École de la Perrine around the theme "Virtual exhibition / real exhibition: online art", Recto VRso proposes to exhibit and bring to life the 2021 artwork selection in immersive and interactive devices.

Exhibition and performances
The Musée Ecole de la Perrine (10 Allée Adrien Bruneau, 53000 Laval) hosts the main exhibition Recto VRso 2021, a physical restitution of more than 30 artworks that question online art and its exhibition. Recto VRso also hosts, on the occasion of this 4th edition, artistic performances, moments of activation of experimental or collaborative works, which can hybridize the boundaries between the physical and the virtual.
In this exceptional and unique place in France that is the Bateau Lavoir (Quai Paul Boudet, 53000 Laval), come and discover the project of Elhem Younes and Johan Julien as part of the art itinerary. Voyage de l'imaginaire رحلة الخيــــال by Elhem Younes is an exhibition project bringing together a series of plastic and digital works, notably those created as part of the Recto Verso 2020 residency in confinement. Landscapes of Motions by Johan Julien is an exhibition of two series of paintings and digital prints questioning gesture and its representation.
One week of creation
At the Lycée Ambroise Paré (17 rue du lycée, 53000 Laval), students are participating in a week of digital and interactive creation with real-time technologies. On 10 and 11 July, the creative work will be presented to the public. Participants : Students and teacher-researchers from EUR ArTeC, ATI Arts & Technologies de l’Image – Université Paris 8 and NTHU National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan.
