”As big as the internet, as small as a village” is a virtual journey through a fictional town of talking algorithms that tell questionable facts about each other and their environment. The WebVR experience reflects on the influential power of digital information and how online communication has dangerously sunk on to the level of tell-tales and gossip.
Stefano Cerelli & Erika Glionna
Stefano Cerelli is an Italian creative developer living and working around Europe. He has worked as a creative/product developer for several studios and companies in the UK and Italy. In 2020 he co-founded Pigro.Studio with the goal of helping artists to boost their online presence and to craft and show the studio projects. Erika Glionna is a multidisciplinar designer and digital artist mainly studying the contrast between virtual and tangible matter. She has worked in various design studios and art collectives. She is currently part of the art collective Future in my left shoe and she studies Digital Art at the University of Angewandte Kunst in Vienna.
